Ujjal Kumar Saha is a classically trained jazz guitarist based in Hyderabad.  Being born and brought up in Kolkata he collaborated with international jazz artists such as Angela Hagenbach, Larry Correal, Thebe Libre, and Paul Robson. Currently, he performs with his own ensemble, either as a duo, trio or quqartetor trio.

Being a lifetime member of Cine Musicians Association ,Mumbai significant amount of his life has being spent in their performing shows and working as a studio musicians for the Film Industry. 

Ujjal Kumar Saha has performed jazz guitar in multiple locations across India, contributing to the country's growing jazz scene. Here are some highlights of his work:

• 🎸 Performed in prominent jazz festivals across India: He was featured as a solo guitarist, blending Indian classical ragas with Western jazz styles.

• 🎶 Collaborations: Ujjal has performed alongside international jazz artists like Angela Hagenbach, Larry Correal, Thebe Libre, and Paul Robson, indicating his recognition in both local and international circles.

• 📍 Performances Across India:  it's known that he has been active in Kolkata and likely other major cities with jazz audiences such as Mumbai, Delhi, and Bangalore conducting jazz shows across the country for corporate and public shows.

• 📚 Education & Mentorship: Besides performing, he is also known for teaching guitar and promoting jazz through educational resources like his book Learn Guitar in 24 Hours.

• Ujjal Kumar Saha collaborated with the Hyderabad Western Music Foundation (HWMF) and the Alliance Française of Hyderabad to offer chain of jazz show , solo, duo trio and quartet format and jazz masterclasses​
